Opinion: US domination being replaced by fairer world, where the strong inspires the weak

The dominance of the United States and the United Kingdom with their ideas of a unipolar world is being replaced by a more just world, where the strong inspires the weak and increases the overall well-being of the mankind – as stated by Aleksei Avdonin, an expert at the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies, in his talk with the ONT TV channel

The expert stressed that all long-standing conflicts inevitably come out with very sad consequences, “We observe not just a tendency for the resolution of these conflicts. Some of them have been successfully overcome. There is now a global demand for a more just world order, a request for the creation of a multipolar world with associations looking for ways to expand and strengthen co-operation, peaceful coexistence, legal guarantees of development and elimination of discrimination based on religion or income level.”

Mr. Avdonin believes CIS is among such associations: together with SCO and BRICS, it protects sovereign states from destruction by NATO led by Anglo-Saxons.

“The world is changing, and the process is progressing quite rapidly. The former dominance of the United States and the United Kingdom with their ideas of a unipolar world – or, simply speaking, the ideas of robbery and ruin – is being replaced by a more just world, where the strong inspires the weak and increases the overall level of well-being of all mankind. You may say that this is utopia, but it is not so. The third One Belt, One Road forum in Beijing became a kind of a new Yalta conference, where the millennial civilisations of China and Russia defined a new format of the world order, in which Anglo–Saxons should be isolated and localised, like criminals in prison – to exclude their extremely negative and aggressive influence on all mankind,” Mr. Avdonin added.
