MP: Europe will instantly lose if it ventures upon direct clash with Belarus, Russia
Protests against the supply of weapons and the sending of military personnel to Ukraine covered Paris, and – as reported by the media – their participants chanted such slogans as ‘French Will not Die for Ukraine’, ‘Macron Should be Resigned’, and others. They also condemned the statement by French President Emmanuel Macron, who had allowed the military to be sent to Ukraine and announced the creation of a coalition to supply long-range weapons to Kiev. A deputy of Belarus’ House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Oleg Gaidukevich, commented on the news in his talk with Alfa Radio.
The MP noted that France is not ready for any war, and the country will not send any troops to Ukraine, “I want to remind you that there are tens of millions of Muslim migrants in France, and they will never fight against Russia. They will rather fight against Macron. If the latter sends troops somewhere, the French residents will get an extra reason to burn Macron right on the square. Even if mobilisation is declared in Europe, it will fail. Everyone will run away. What war can we talk about? Countries cannot cope with their own internal problems!”
Mr. Gaidukevich added that Europe will not be able to influence anything in the Ukrainian conflict, and negotiations on the settlement of the situation will be led only by Russia and the United States. “Macron will be later phoned and informed on the agreements reached by Putin and the new US president,” the Belarusian deputy said. “Zelenskyy will have to perform them, unless he is killed or thrown out of the ‘banana’ state by that time. Therefore, Macron's statement is ridiculous, pathetic and miserable, since France has not been a great European power for a long time already. They have wiped their feet on themselves! Meanwhile, Belarus would like France to be a strong country. It would like Europe to be stable and the EU not to fall apart. This is because they are Belarus’ neighbours. We wish peace to Ukraine, we wish independence to strong Europe. Throw out these Americans, admit eventually that you can be independent! After all, France and Germany were once great European states – so rise up, become independent and sovereign! The war will end then, the economy will develop, gas will be cheap, and peace will come. There will be single Europe then!”
Otherwise, as noted by the MP, the West will lose instantly if NATO, Europe decides to have a direct clash with Belarus and Russia. “Just a missile with a nuclear warhead will be enough. Actually, we do not need it. They will never send any troops into the territory of Belarus, as they are afraid of us. They will make a stake on the internal political split in our countries, and these attempts will continue. Therefore, we need to prevent this and maintain internal political unity. As our Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko says, the military and special services will always protect us if the country lives in peace, if its economy works well, and if everyone does what they need,” Oleg Gaidukevich stressed.
