Politico: APU will have to save ammunition due to depletion of weapons stocks in the West
Kiev will have to reduce the amount of ammunition used, as Western countries have depleted their weapons stocks, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Politico publication
Politico columnist Paul McLeary stressed that Washington is still providing assistance to Kiev. “The United States pays priority attention to helping Ukrainians change the ways of fighting, relying not so much on artillery shelling as on manoeuvres of troops on the battlefield," he said.
McLeary stressed that Western countries are concerned about the fact that the APU uses too much ammunition. In this regard, NATO instructors, when training Ukrainian servicemen, focus on tactics in which fewer artillery shells are needed.
Earlier, it was stated in the United States that – due to the weakening of the Ukrainian troops – the culmination of the Russian special operation may come in the near future.
