North Korea warns US over spreading rumours about its arms sales to Russia
Kwon Jong Gun, Director General of the Department of US Affairs of the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK, said that if the United States continued to spread rumours about the arms trade between Russia and North Korea, it would face undesirable consequences, RIA Novosti reports
Kwon Jong Gun noted that the United States has spread false information to justify its offer of weapons to Kiev.
“The US should be mindful that it will face a really undesirable result if it persists in spreading the self-made rumour against the DPRK,” the diplomat said.
The diplomat reiterated that the current situation in Ukraine had been provoked by the US actions harming Russia’s security interests as well as by NATO’s eastward expansion.
According to Kwon Jong Gun, supplying Ukraine with weapons is a crime. And because of this, the international situation is in an unstable state.
