Expert believes aggressive politicians are in power in Poland

Polish politicians dream of a large sphere of influence, supporting the escalation and continuing to hysteria, since this is part of their political strategy – as stated by Vadim Gigin, the Chairman of the Republican Znanie Belarusian Society, during his talk with Alfa Radio

Recently, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki made another political statement about Russia, “The Kremlin must know that if Russia had ever the idea of attacking Poland, then we have 40 million Poles ready to defend their homeland with gun in their hands.”

Commenting on the militant remarks of the Polish PM, Vadim Gigin noted that Morawiecki is trying to support the escalation, since ‘good news for the West is not coming from the territory of Ukraine now’.

“It would be better for Morawiecki to keep quiet and think about the real security of the country, and not just in words,” the expert noted. “Extremely aggressive politicians are in power in Poland, dreaming of a large sphere of influence, of the revival of the Intermarium. They also continue to escalate and hysteria. It’s all part of their political strategy.”

Vadim Gigin also commented on the information that Poland had run out of stocks of weapons due to assistance to Ukraine. The Polish government handed over $2bn of weapons to Kiev. “Now Poland is asking the allies to urgently replenish the depleted reserves, sending it at least the used equipment. The Poles also plan to buy more than 200 Abrams tanks. More than $6bn has been allocated for this. Poland is being militarised but this is the usual strategy of Polish expansionism, which is followed by the ruling party,” summed up the political expert.
