“I was in such a situation when a volunteer from some organisation drove up and asked: “Where are you taking them [refugees]?” In response, the Polish border guard simply shot him in the forehead. I have seen at least two such situations,” said Emil Czeczko.

On December 16th, at 5.50pm, near the Belarusian-Polish border, a serviceman of the Polish Armed Forces, Emil Czeczko, born 1996, was stopped by a Belarusian border patrol in the border security zone at the Tushemlya border outpost of the Grodno border group.

In connection with disagreement with Poland’s policy regarding the migration crisis and inhumane treatment of refugees, the serviceman asked for political asylum in Belarus.
