Opinion: Belarus will not betray iron brotherhood and strategic friendship with China

China is the main competitor of the United States, so Washington seeks to weaken it by reducing the number of allies, but Minsk will never betray the iron brotherhood and strategic friendship with Beijing – as stated by political expert Aleksandr Shpakovsky in his talk with Alfa Radio

“It [the US] sees the power of China, the challenge of China in the field of economy, military sphere, and space. Some futurists assert that the model of the future development of mankind depends on the confrontation between the United States and China in the field of high intelligence. Of course, it [the US] demanded that China be removed,” Mr. Shpakovsky said.

According to the expert, Belarus has taken the right path when it chose China rather than the United States as one of its main allies.

“We are not betraying the iron brotherhood and all-weather strategic friendship with China. As practice has shown, this is absolutely correct, since the lulling actions of a number of US officials in the Belarusian direction were actually a cover story, under the curtain of which a conspiracy – envisaging an overthrow of state power in our country and Belarus’ geopolitical turnabout – was planned. The State Security Committee has reliably identified the instigators and organisers of that conspiracy. A high-ranking American official, Michael Carpenter, was named among others. No one has dismissed these charges yet," Mr. Shpakovsky stated.
