Lukashenko: US pushing Poland and Baltic States to confront Belarus

This was stated by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, after his talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in the Amur Region, BelTA reports

During the talks, the heads of state paid great attention to defence issues. The President recalled that Belarus and Russia had long ago established the regional grouping of the Union State’s forces.

“We see how the Americans are pushing not only Ukraine, but our western neighbour, Poland, and the Baltic States to confront Belarus,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko.

The Belarusian Head of State said that, if necessary, Russia would help Belarus defend its western borders.
