“Incidents of the kind have become more frequent recently and can be regarded as provocative actions by the neighbouring countries in order to create tension on the border. This is the fourth case in the last three months related to the violation of the airspace of the Republic of Belarus," the message reads.

On February 8th, an AN-2 plane violated the border, flying 300m into the Belarusian territory. Three weeks ago, on January 24th, a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle penetrated Belarus’ airspace in the Malorita District. In December 2021, a Ukrainian helicopter flew into the territory of Belarus near the Novaya Rudnya border checkpoint.
