Expert: no one will come up with idea of using nuclear weapons against Russia, and hence Belarus

The United States has principles for building power relations with Russia and other countries. One of them is that Washington is not indifferent to agreements on the limitation of strategic offensive weapons and military activities. That is why the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) is so important: Americans are interested in preventing Russia from entering the stage of mass production of nuclear weapons. Military expert Igor Chibisov commented on the main fears of the United States.

“Americans, by not ratifying the CTBT, thereby reserved for themselves the right to conduct nuclear tests. It is no secret that the United States and Russia are developing new types of nuclear weapons. The US is modernising and improving its nuclear arsenal, replenishing it with new ammunition. In turn, a missile with the Burevestnik nuclear warhead has been successfully tested in Russia, and work has been completed on the Sarmat ultra-long intercontinental ballistic missile capable of wiping out an area the size of the United Kingdom or France (its flight range is up to 11,000km). At the same time, the Russian side also has its Kinzhal supersonic missile with a maximum flight range of up to 3,000km. The Russian Navy is armed with Zircons, which flight range is up to 1,000km. The most important thing is that the missile defence of the United States and NATO cannot shoot them down. Anglo-Saxons do not want to deprive themselves of the ‘quiet life’ achieved through the exploitation of other peoples, so they understand that Russia is capable of resuming nuclear weapons tests. The United States can start its nuclear tests as well. Finally, Russia has begun to follow the principle: we should do the same they (United States and NATO) do. I am sure that no one will come up with the idea of using nuclear weapons against the Russian Federation, and hence its ally Belarus. Russian hypersonic missiles are one of the reasons that does not give the West the opportunity to provoke The Third World War. No one is ready for it, and – most importantly – no one needs it,” the expert said.
