Tayyip Erdogan recognised that now the question of where to get energy this winter has come to the fore in European countries.

“Meanwhile, we don’t have that problem. Moreover, at our last meeting with Vladimir Putin, we agreed to create a ‘gas hub’ in Turkey. As he himself announced, Europe can use Russian gas through Turkey,” the Turkish President noted.

A week earlier, the Russian leader at an energy forum in Moscow voiced a proposal to create a ‘gas hub’ in Turkey. According to the President of the Russian Federation, this way it is possible to replace the lost volume of blue fuel pumped through Nord Stream.

At a meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Vladimir Putin drew attention to the fact that with the creation of a ‘gas hub’, it will be possible to calmly regulate prices ‘at a normal market level, without any political overtones’.
