CNN: Trump’s ex-adviser admits to having planned coups abroad

John Bolton, former national security adviser under Donald Trump, admitted to having planned several coups abroad – as stated by him in an interview with CNN, TASS reports

John Bolton, speaking of the storming of the Capitol by supporters of Donald Trump in January last year, underlined, “As somebody who has helped plan coup d’état, not here [not in the USA], but other places, it takes a lot of work.”

“He [Donald Trump] was stumbling around from one idea to another,” he noted, adding that in the end all this led to the fact that the protesters broke into the Capitol.

On January 6th, 2021, supporters of Donald Trump broke into the Congress building in order to prevent the approval of the results of the presidential elections held in November 2020 and won by Democrat Joe Biden. During the riots inside the building, law enforcement officers killed a protester. Moreover, unrelated deaths of several more people were registered, qualified as an emergency of a medical nature. After the clashes, a law enforcement officer in the Capitol died.
