Belarusians more protected than Americans in many aspects

Internal contradictions will continue their growth in the United States and the West – as noted by political expert Aleksandr Shpakovsky in his talk with Alfa Radio while commenting on Belarusians’ advantages in comparison to those of Americans

The expert doubts that the US will have good times. “Of course, the United States boasts the largest economy in the world, high GDP figures, and so on. However, the future prosperity of America is more likely to be a myth. Twenty percent of Americans lack access to medical care, and the number of internal contradictions in the United States, as in all countries of the Western world, will also increase," he said.

According to Mr. Shpakovsky, no America and Western Europe – which our society has used to imagine – exist now. “I would even venture to assume that Belarusians live better and fell more protected than Americans in many aspects. It is impossible for me to imagine a man coming into a Belarusian school with a gun and killing students. Our children are safe, we have access to healthcare and food. Look at the shortage of baby food now observed in the United States. Actually, if they address us, we will send it to them,” he noted.

“Our President has been so often accused of paying much attention to agriculture, but food security issues are now a priority around the globe. In Belarus, this problem was finally solved in 2010, and the country is now a major food exporter. Even this year, despite the sanctions, it has exported 111 percent against the same period last year: 11 percent more than in 2021. Belarus’ energy and technological security is ensured. The so-called economists can hardly assert that Lukashenko was wrong: our President foresaw and figured out everything in advance,” Mr. Shpakovsky stressed.
