Wider presence of Polish Armed Forces on border with Ukraine expected

The Polish authorities plan to increase the number of military personnel in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship on the border with Ukraine, TASS reports

Poland’s Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, said at a press conference broadcast by TVP Info, “The presence of the army in Rzeszow [Subcarpathian Voivodeship capital] will be expanded.”

The politician added that the Podgalsky Riflemen brigade, which is part of the 18th mechanised division stationed in the east of the country, will be enlarged.
