Samsung began development of smart ring
The Korean corporation Samsung has started work on a new ring, which will function by analogy with fitness bracelets and smart watches, Lenta.ru reports
Experts say that Samsung intends to develop and release the device together with several companies.
The smart ring will be able to collect data on its owner’s activity and health indicators. For example, the device will take heartbeat readings, ECG and blood oxygen saturation levels. The shape of a ring was chosen for a reason: it is assumed that the device will be more comfortable to wear than analogues in the form of bracelets.
Insiders report that Samsung patented the device back in October 2021. It is not yet known when the Korean-made smart ring will be on sale and how much it will cost.
