Rybakov: Belarusian mission’s work at UN based on contributing to the end of Ukraine conflict

Belarus’ Permanent Mission to the UN will continue to contribute to the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, despite all attempts to hinder or stop this work – as noted by Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN Valentin Rybakov in his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel

“Peace is the number one issue and our main goal. We would all like to achieve this goal. This regional conflict is taking place on our doorstep, directly affecting us and creating a lot of problems and inconveniences. People are dying. We would like this conflict to end. The work of our mission is to contribute to the end of this conflict. All the related issues – countering sanctions pressure and blocking the supply of our goods – are the main issues that our diplomats are constantly working on. We will continue this work, despite all attempts to hinder or stop our work.”

All these and other questions, according to the diplomat, will also be voiced by the Belarusian delegation during the work of the regular session of the UN General Assembly, which will begin on September 19th with the High Level Week.
