Russian MFA: US, Europe using information technology for propaganda
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the US authorities and political elites in Europe are actively using information and communication technologies for propaganda and provocation, RIA Novosti reports
In a video message to the participants and organisers of the World Online Conference on Multipolarity, Maria Zakharova said, “European political elites use information and communication technologies not for the noble purposes of conveying objective information to the general population. They use them for agitation, provocations, propaganda, and sometimes even indoctrination.”
According to the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the political elites of the United States and Europe do this without any regard for the norms and traditions of various countries and societies.
