Russian embassy said US afraid of publicising facts about Azov’s crimes

The accusations from the United States against Russia regarding the holding of a tribunal for Ukrainian war criminals in Mariupol are groundless. The Russian embassy in Washington said that the United States is afraid of publicising the facts that testify to the inhuman acts of the Azov nationalists, TASS reports.

The comment, which was distributed by the press service of the Russian diplomatic mission, says that the mission drew attention to the unfounded accusations against the Russian Federation related to the holding of a tribunal over Ukrainian war criminals. “The upcoming trial is aimed at bringing justice to war criminals, among which there are Nazis from the Azov Regiment. Washington is clearly afraid of making public the evidence of the inhumane acts committed by the members of this terrorist organisation,” the embassy noted.

Moreover, it added that ‘the international tribunal in Mariupol is able to shed light on the true essence of the Kiev regime, of which the United States diligently creates a bright and heroic image’.
