Skrzypczak that Warsaw, together with NATO, should organise the training of ‘new formations of the Ukrainian army’. He believes that it is possible to train citizens in military affairs not only in Poland, but also in Germany and France, where Ukrainian refugees also live.

“Train those citizens of Ukraine who are here: mobilise, train, send to the front, because Ukraine is getting more and more difficult,” he explained.

The former commander recalled how, in the early 1940s, an army was created in France from citizens who arrived from Poland.

“Why not create such Ukrainian troops in Poland and send them to the frontline?” asked Skrzypczak.

He also recalled the serious losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and stated that there is no military chance for Ukraine to win this war. According to the general, the West is unable to provide Kiev with as much assistance as it needs.
