Refuges provided with masks and will be vaccinated

Ten thousand facemasks have been distributed among refugees and vaccination against COVID-19 is to begin – as reported by Victor Liskovich, the Chairman of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic on Education, Science, Culture and Social Development

“We prepared additional places for accommodation and around 200 people are now coming to the logistics centre. 10,000 facemasks were distributed yesterday. After analysing refugees’ request, we’ve decided to start their vaccination against COVID-19 – using the Chinese vaccine,” the official said yesterday.

It became known that one case of coronavirus infection was registered among refugees and, as a consequence, a vaccination point was opened.

Refugees who are coming from the Bruzgi border checkpoint territory are being accommodated in the logistics centre – enjoying all necessary conditions. To avoid crowds inside, it was decided to distribute blankets, pillows and warm clothes at its entrance.
