Poland reported readiness to train 30 thousand Ukrainian soldiers
Poland is ready to train 30 thousand Ukrainian soldiers, this process is going fast – as stated by Polish Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Security Mariusz Blaszczak, RIA Novosti reports
After the recent meeting of NATO defence ministers in Brussels, Mr. Blaszczak said, “We are ready to train 30 thousand [soldiers]. This process is progressing fast. I heard the assessment after the EU audit concerning this issue; it was high.”
In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister said that most of the Ukrainian fighters prepared within the framework of the EU mission were trained in Poland.
Earlier, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, informed that 15 thousand Ukrainian soldiers had already been trained for Ukraine as part of the EU training mission.
