Maksim Tsukanov noted that space is a matter of state security.

“You know, they say that infantry beats tanks, and tanks beat helicopters, helicopters are beaten by aviation, but space beats everything. In fact, this is a matter of both security and science. Many scientific and space experiments have paved the way for new technologies. Therefore, by developing space, we are developing science as a whole. Moreover, we need to move on, we have already stayed too long on Earth, and the vast expanses of the universe are waiting for us! I think for any superpower and any large state, the issue of space is a matter of prestige, as well as the question of the state's existence as a sovereign one,” he added.
