Opinion: Belarus preserved and developed USSR values

A lot depends on who runs the state – as noted by the Rector of the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus, Vyacheslav Danilovich, in his talk with the ONT TV channel

According to Mr. Danilovich, Belarus’ successes indicate that the Soviet Union had a future.

“The example of our country shows that the USSR had a future. We have not swept away the useful things and values that were in the USSR. We have preserved and developed them. Our example confirms that a lot depends on who is at the helm of the state, what the ruling elite is set up for. The Soviet state could have had such a future," he noted.
