Number of large families up 13.5% in Belarus since 2019

Since 2019, the number of families with many children in Belarus has increased by 13.5 percent, the press service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection reports

According to the source, about 1.143m families with minor children lived in Belarus based on the 2019 census data, and among them there were about 105.7 thousand large families. The number of the latter has grown by now, and it stands at 120,000+. “Thus, since 2019, there have become 13.5 percent more families with many children in the republic,” the press service noted.
