New Polish government agreed to deploy German troops on its territory

According to the newspaper Rzeczpospolita, the new Polish authorities are not against the deployment of German troops on their territory, TASS reports

Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Szejna said that if the Germans want to ‘strengthen NATO’s eastern flank in Poland as they have already done in Lithuania, ‘herzlich willkommen’ [welcome].”

It is reported that the previous Polish government in 2022 refused a German proposal to station German troops in Poland to strengthen NATO’s eastern front.
