MP: Scholz is a sorry excuse for politician

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has done nothing good for his country – as noted by a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Oleg Gaidukevich, in his talk with Alfa Radio

A survey of German residents conducted by Bild has recently showed that 59 percent of Germans would like to have a new government without Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

“We can criticise [former German Chancellor Angela] Merkel, as there is a reason for that. However, Scholz looks truly miserable against her background. Merkel is a figure, and Scholz is a sorry excuse for a politician who has done nothing for Germany. Germany is losing its position every month; the German economy is collapsing. Scholz is helpless, he can do nothing. Just think about it: over the recent years of his leadership of Germany, this country has not been asked about anything. The situation in Ukraine is none of its business. As regards the Middle East, does Israel consult with Germany?” Mr. Gaidukevich wondered.

According to the MP, Europe is not actually being asked about anything these days. “Europe plays the role of a subordinate performer of the United States, and this is a tragedy of the European Union. Europe should be independent and sovereign. That’s what we want, and Belarus’ President has voiced this many times. We do not need any pro-Russian or pro-Russian presidents in European countries, we need independent leaders like Aleksandr Lukashenko who will defend their own national interests. If every European country had a politician of such a level and scale in matters of defending its own interests as Belarus’ President, there would be no war or problems in the economy, migrants would be dealt with, and it would be calm at the border. Meanwhile, the European Union now faces a crisis in all spheres, and it will worsen every month," he added.

Mr. Gaidukevich believes Europeans have no future if the present policy continues in the European Union. “Take the demographic situation: Europe is in deep crisis. Europeans do not give birth to children, unlike the Muslims who live there. They expected that migrants would somehow integrate into society and become Europeans with Western values, but this has not happened and will never happen. They will build their own society, while Europe will degrade and die," the MP concluded.
