MP: anything can be bought from Polish authorities, as everything is corrupt and stolen

The Polish authorities have announced a tender for the construction of a barrier with electronic tracking systems on the border with Belarus, on the Bug River. Warsaw also said that the state-of-the-art fence on the border with the Kaliningrad Region of the Russian Federation is almost ready. Commenting on this news in his talk with Alfa Radio, a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, Oleg Gaidukevich, noted that no barriers will save Poland from refugee flows.

“No wall can hide anyone from migrants. The United States has much more opportunities than Poland, it supports the latter – but no money helped Americans avoid migration from Mexico. A wall or electronic systems may be erected, whatever. Migrants are like rain. For example, Erdogan will quarrel with Europe tomorrow, or they will not fulfil his demands – and then he will open the border, and millions of migrants will pour in. Thousands of them arrive daily, and nobody and nothing have stopped them,” the MP said. “As regards Poland and Lithuania, no fences will save these countries from refugees. The fence there is simply destroying the nature of Belovezhskaya Pushcha and its unique animals. Where are ‘green’ activists? European ‘greens’, wake up! You are now working out the American agenda, not the European one. Why do you ban nuclear power plants in Germany? You do this to enable the US to sell gas to Germany and, accordingly, to put the latter on its knees. You should better pay attention to the fence!”

The MP also noted the corruption of the Polish authorities, for whom the fence is a good reason to earn money for themselves. “They are engaged into stealing, while the fence means much money. Poland is poor, it has a huge number of economic problems, because of which they [Polish authorities] scare [their electorate] with Belarus and Russia – saying that there is allegedly some kind of threat. By the way, who will give money to erect the fence? They will address Berlin and Washington for financing, and half of the sum will go to their pockets. They present themselves as fighters for there to be no migrants. At the same time, they have sold so many visas illegally! All Belarusian opposition members – while they stayed in the country – traded visas for decades in collusion with Polish and Lithuanian consuls. It was a great business. Poles are still selling visas, passports. Anything can be bought from the Polish authorities, as everything is corrupt and stolen there.”

Mr. Gaidukevich believes that Poland adheres to double standards in matters of migration, and it will continue this policy in the near future. “The Polish authorities lie to their citizens that they are fighting migrants by erecting this fence. How can they actually counteract [illegal migration] if they want to? [They can] negotiate with Belarus. We were saving them from migrants for decades. Should we continue to do so in the new conditions? Warsaw imposes sanctions on us. Should we save it in return? No, my friends, protect yourself with your own hands. We did not create the migration crisis, we did not destroy the Middle East.”
