Minnikhanov awarded Lukashenko with Tatarstan’s Order of Duslyk
Head of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov, before the start of the talks with the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, presented the Belarusian leader with Tatarstan’s state award: the Order of Duslyk (Order of Friendship)
The Order of Duslyk is the second most important state award of the Republic of Tatarstan, approved on April 25th, 2015, and awarded by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan. This award is bestowed for special merits in strengthening the international authority of the Republic of Tatarstan, friendship and co-operation between Tatarstan and foreign countries, for significant contributions to the development of economic, trade, sci-tech, social, cultural relations and industrial potential, as well as effective investment, charitable and public activities that promotes prosperity.
The first Order of Duslyk in 2015 was awarded to Tatarstan’s first head, Mintimer Shaimiyev.
