Medvedev: Ukraine failed to break Russia, the final is close
Ukraine failed to break Russia, the end of the confrontation is already close – as noted by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, RIA Novosti reports
As Medvedev noted, today even Kiev understands that Ukraine will not be able to become a NATO member until the end of hostilities.
“From here, however, a very simple and sad conclusion is drawn: if the conflicting countries are not accepted into NATO, then the conflict will be permanent, because this is a matter of Russia’s existence,” he added.
According to Medvedev, the reasons for the indignation of the Ukrainian authorities are obvious.
“They failed to break Russia, the anti-Russian front also failed. It’s not about politics, it’s not about strategy, it’s not even about tactics. It’s just that the end is near. The hour has struck,” said the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.
