Medvedev: anti-American military alliance is possible in the event of long-lasting Ukrainian conflict
The results of the North Atlantic Alliance meeting at the Ramstein base in Germany indicate that the West does not intend to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine. In the event that the conflict does not end soon, the creation of a new anti-American military alliance is possible – as noted by the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, RIA Novosti reports
According to Mr. Medvedev, the main goal of Western countries is to exhaust and subsequently destroy Russia. He stressed that the confrontation will not be simple: the West has enough weapons, and if necessary, new production will be launched there.
The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council added that the countries ‘fed up with Americans’ can unite into an alliance in the future. “That always happened in the history of mankind during long-lasting wars. In this case, the United States will finally let old Europe and the remnants of unfortunate Ukrainians alone, and the world will come back to an equilibrium state again – unless, it is too late, of course,” he concluded.
