Lukashenko revealed timing and topics of upcoming conversation with Xi Jinping

The President of Belarus gave details about the timing and topics of his upcoming conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping. At a meeting with the First Deputy President of CITIC Construction Co., Ltd., Yang Jianqiang, Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that he had held a thorough and meaningful meeting with the President of the People's Republic of China on the side-lines of the recent SCO summit in Samarkand

“We discussed all economic issues of our co-operation, including the ones that are within your competence and responsibility. We agreed that, after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we will talk more thoroughly, in a working mode, about the economy, politics, and military-technical co-operation,” the Belarusian leader said.

According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, the current visit of Yang Jianqiang to Belarus will give an opportunity to look into the future of the two states’ relations, especially in the building industry. “There are a number of issues that we need to discuss with you, since you are the largest company operating in Belarus,” the Head of State addressed Yang Jianqiang. “All this is due to the fact that I need to thoroughly prepare for a conversation, which will be soon, as we have agreed, with President Xi Jinping.”
