Georgia refused to help Ukraine with weapons
The Georgian Government cannot and will not provide military assistance to Kiev – as stated by Mamuka Mdinaradze, the Chairperson of the Georgian Dream Parliamentary Faction, TASS reports
The Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine in Georgia, Andrei Kasyanov, said earlier that the Kiev Government had repeatedly appealed to Tbilisi with a request to provide military or dual-use equipment, but the appeals had been ignored.
“Georgia provides full and absolute political support to Ukraine. It also provides humanitarian assistance beyond its capabilities, but we cannot and will not provide military assistance," Mr. Mdinaradze stated.
The politician explained the refusal of military support to Ukraine by saying that Georgia has its own problems related to Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
