Bainev: Eurostat notes fall in Eurozone’s GDP, leading to decline in living standards and inflation

Eurostat reported a drop in Eurozone GDP. In late 2023, according to the European Commission, 10 of the 27 EU members saw a decline in GDP of 0.2-2.6 percent compared to 2022 – as noted by Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department at the Belarusian State University Valery Bainev.

“Similar processes are expected in the EU in April-June 2024. At the same time, the budget crisis in Germany caused a contraction of the EU’s largest economy in Q3 and Q4 2023, which led to a recession in the Eurozone. The situation is aggravated by high ECB rates, as well as inflation and devaluation of the Euro. These problems have affected many countries of the Old World, causing a sharp decline in living standards, a reduction in the middle class, food inflation, general high prices for goods and services, deindustrialisation of the economy, problems in agriculture, and an increase in migration flows. As a result, there was a surge of mass protests across the EU. Thus, a wave of strikes hit Germany, with farmers, Lufthansa and Discover pilots, railway workers, artisans, freight forwarders and civil servants resuming their protests for their rights. Protests regarding the policies of the EU ruling elites also covered France, the Netherlands, Austria, Greece, Poland, Romania and Lithuania. All categories of protesters have their own demands.

As for the destruction of the Eurozone economy and the propaganda of imaginary values, this has many levels of measurement. How is it possible rationally describe Olaf Scholz’s behaviour, who buys American gas for his people at four times the price from Russia? If this process seems to be uncontrollable, then we definitely know who is in charge of it. So the goal of deindustrialisation and destruction of Europe’s economic potential is also specific. However, there is something else in the EU, e.g., the special settlement of European countries by foreigners (migrants). Therefore, the highest geopolitical meaning here is as follows: a new world order is being formed, led by a world government. At the recent WEF in Davos, this ‘new world order’ was called ‘inclusive capitalism’, meaning there should be no nation states. Thus, the state as an institution turns into a laughing stock, is discredited and devalued, which is what all these Bidens, Macrons, Scholzs are talking about. The standard of living of the population should be the same everywhere, so the West deliberately decided to lower it, especially in the traditionally rich France, Germany, Italy and other countries. This causes protests among people. Similar processes are taking place in the USA. This plan is being currently implemented in the West.”
