Expert comments on fallen missile: Belarus will not be intimidated by this

A deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Sergei Klishevich, said the fallen missile was Ukraine’s attempt to intimidate Belarus

“I must say that the situation that is unfolding in Ukraine today is completely controlled by NATO and American specialists, so any flight of a missile or a projectile is sanctioned, primarily, by them. They are managing the situation in Ukraine. I think it can be assumed that the incident is directly related to Belarus’ co-operation with its partner, the Russian Federation, with which the work has even intensified recently. In this case, the task was ‘to warn’. Ukrainians do not rule their country at present, and therefore we should understand that their American curators will stop at nothing – as they have already done all over the world. However, one thing is obvious: we cannot be intimidated by this, we have a reliable air defence system,” the MP stressed.
