Deputy called Polish leadership’s decision to repair Leopard tanks for AFU its tragic mistake
The Polish authorities today spit on their own people, being ready to drag them into the war – as noted by deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Oleg Gaidukevich in his talk with Alfa Radio
According to Poland’s Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak, a maintenance centre to repair Leopard tanks supplied to Ukraine has opened in his country. Earlier, Germany refused to create such an enterprise.
“It’s a tragic historical mistake of the Polish leadership, the people will curse them for it. Today, the whole of Europe is being drawn into the war by the hands of the Polish authorities. Not without reason, Germany refused to repair tanks on its territory. They understand that this will all end sooner or later, and it will be necessary to build relations with Russia. There will never be any Europe without Russia and Belarus. What are the Poles doing today? They have to pay for everything, and here is the payment of the Polish people for the money that the US has invested in this country for many years,” said Oleg Gaidukevich.
Oleg Gaidukevich stressed that in addition to the fact that sovereignty and independence have been already taken away from the Poles, they continue to be drawn into the conflict.
“And it’s tragic, the consequences can be dire. The situation can develop according to a very bad scenario. I’ll give you an example. Today they are repairing tanks, and tomorrow, at the US command, planes will fly from Polish airfields towards Russia. And what can be afterwards? Do the Polish people think about how direct aggression against Russia would be perceived by the Russian Federation and what would be the answer? Do the Polish people need this? No. Does Europe need this? No,” added the political expert.
He drew attention to the fact that Belarus has always wanted normal relations with Poland.
“We went through the trenches together, there were Poles who fought together with the Soviet Army against fascism. And today the Polish leadership crosses it out and spits on its own people,” the deputy said.
