Chinese FM: China will not tolerate interference in economic co-operation with Russia
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China stated that trade and economic co-operation between China and the Russian Federation should not be subject to interference and condemnation by other states, TASS reports
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning commented at a briefing on a recent statement by US Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell that Russia's successes during a special military operation in Ukraine could negatively affect US-China relations.
“I want to say that China and the Russian Federation have the right to develop normal trade and economic co-operation. It should not be subject to interference and deterrence,” the Chinese diplomat stressed.
Mao Ning added that the Chinese side also does not accept condemnation and pressure.
