China says it will never compromise on Taiwan

China will never compromise on Taiwan and demands that the United States stop arming the island, TASS reports

The Defence Ministry of the People's Republic of China posted a statement reading that China will never compromise on the Taiwan issue and demands that the United States comply with the ‘one China’ principle, faithfully fulfil related obligations, stop arming Taiwan and oppose the ‘independence’ of the island.

It is also reported that China urges the United States ‘to reduce its military deployment and provocative actions in the South China Sea, to stop supporting violations and provocations by individual countries’.
