Brazil’s President proposed ‘peace club’ to resolve conflict in Ukraine

The President of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, supports the creation of ‘a peace club’ with the participation of China to end the Ukrainian conflict, RIA Novosti reports with reference to The Financial Times

According to the source, the Brazilian leader plans to announce this proposal during his visit to China.

“We are very interested in promoting or helping to organise any meeting that would lead to a peace process. The President [of Brazil] has said so many times that he hears a lot about conflict, but very little about peace," Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira said.
