Borrell: EU mission to train 30,000 Ukrainian soldiers

The EU training mission will additionally train 15 thousand Ukrainian soldiers, as a result of which the total number of trained military will reach 30,000 – as informed by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, in his Twitter account

“Glad to announce to PM [of Ukraine] Denys Shmyhal that EU Military Assistance Mission will train additional 15,000 Ukrainian soldiers, taking the total number of EUMAM trained personnel to 30,000,” Mr. Borrell posted.

He also announced the allocation of 25m Euros to Ukraine to support mine clearance efforts. “Protecting civilians and their livelihoods is a priority," the politician noted.
