Belgium allocates financial assistance to Ukraine

The Belgian authorities have decided to allocate an additional 8m Euros for the Ukrainian military – as reported by the Belgian Cabinet of Ministers, RIA Novosti reports

It is noted that Belgium plans to provide first aid equipment, winter clothing, and, if necessary, night vision devices and medicines for the needs of the military.

The Head of the Belgian Foreign Ministry, Hadja Lahbib, noted that the coming winter could be decisive in the military conflict on the territory of Ukraine. According to Lahbib, it is important that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have all the necessary equipment ‘to continue the resistance’.

Belgium, like other EU and NATO countries, has supported free arms supplies to Ukraine.
