Recently, a delegation of Belarusian industrial enterprises visited New Delhi. The visit was organised by the National Marketing Centre with the support of the Belarusian embassy in India. The delegation, headed by Belarus’ Deputy Industry Minister Dmitry Kharitonchik, included representatives of the Minsk Automobile Works (MFZ), the Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ), Belkommunmash, Gomselmash, and Lidaagroprommash.

Within the framework of the visit, the Centre jointly with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organised the Belarusian-Indian industrial forum. The presentation of the potential of the Belarusian industrial sector took place, with B2B negotiations being held with more than 60 representatives of Indian business.

Belarus’ industrial delegation has also met with representatives of the industrial sector of the Innovative Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (ICCI) – a partner structure of the Centre – to discuss prospects for the implementation of joint projects of industrial co-operation, as well as interaction in the field of industrial production.

A joint action plan for 2023 was signed between the National Marketing Centre and the ICCI, envisaging both the exchange of visits of business delegations to both countries and the holding of a number of bilateral events online.
