Vitaly Zalessky, the First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of Belarus’ National Academy of Sciences, held a working meeting with Yang Jincai, the Chairman of the World UAV Federation, sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ NAS
The parties discussed the prospects for the development of scientific and technical co-operation between Belarus and China in the field of unmanned technologies.
Mr. Zalessky stressed that the Belarusian organisations – that are actively working over the creation of unmanned vehicles – are ready for a wide range of interaction, and it is not only about the creation of new materials, but also the practical use of drones in various fields, including agriculture (agro-drones) and the Emergencies Ministry’s needs.
In turn, Yang Jincai noted that his visit is aimed at establishing partnership relations with Belarus and studying the Belarusian experience in the use of unmanned technologies.
During the visit, the Chinese delegation will visit the Great Stone Industrial Park to get acquainted with the production of agro-drones. The guests will also be shown the production of manned aircraft, including two- and three-seat ones, which can be used both for environmental monitoring and for cargo transportation (i.e. for medical purposes).
