At international expo in Türkiye BUCE plans to attract Asian and Middle Eastern companies

The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) will first take part in the MUSIAD EXPO international diversified exhibition in Turkey, with the BUCE stand being presented as part of Belarus’ national exposition

The BUCE press service underlined that the purpose of participation in the MUSIAD EXPO is to attract companies from Asia and the Middle East to the stock market and expand the geography of exchange trading.

“MUSIAD EXPO is a major regional exhibition forum, bringing together leading companies in metallurgy, engineering, petrochemistry, light industry, and agriculture. Most of them are producers or consumers of goods, and this is especially important, taking into account the task of exchange trading: to reduce the number of intermediaries in supply chains. We consider Turkey as a promising market for Belarusian goods. 27 companies from this country are accredited on the stock exchange. This year, they purchased domestic sawn timber, scrap and non-ferrous metal waste. Compared to January-September last year, the number of transactions made by Turkish participants increased by almost 1.5-fold. Therefore, special attention is to be paid to attracting representatives of Turkish business circles to the exchange, as well as companies from the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. Possible areas of interaction cover export-import operations with the participation of Belarusian enterprises, as well as transit transactions between non-residents,” the BUCE press service informed.

The international exhibition MUSIAD EXPO is held every two years by the Turkish Association of Independent Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (MUSIAD) with the support of the Turkish government. This year, it will be held in Istanbul on November 2nd-5th. Visitors to the BUCE stand will learn about the main activities of the exchange, the most important groups of goods that form the turnover, the procedure for accreditation and the peculiarities of participation in trading of non-resident companies, as well as the advantages of using the exchange mechanism for doing business in Belarus and third countries.
