77 citizens of Ukraine have arrived in Belarus over the past 24 hours – as reported by the official Telegram channel of the Belarusian State Border Committee

“80 citizens arrived at the Belarusian border from the Ukrainian territory from 6am on March 11th to 6am on March 12th: 77 are Ukrainian citizens, 3 come from other states. Some of the foreigners went to their relatives living in our country. The rest are temporarily accommodated in hotels and sanatoriums of the Gomel Region,” noted the State Border Committee.

The department also stressed that in the village of Gden, Gomel Region (near the Komarin checkpoint), the emergency response team of the Secretariat of the Belarus Red Cross deployed a mobile heating point, where people are provided with food, electricity, the opportunity to contact relatives and other necessary assistance.

The State Border Committee reminds that Belarusian checkpoints operate as usual. The Ukrainian side has suspended the work of its border crossings on the border with our country.
