As reported by the Elysee Palace in a communique, the French leader told Volodymyr Zelenskyy by phone about his ‘interest in the Olympic truce’ and talked about military supplies to Kiev, which are planned to be made ‘in the coming days and weeks’.

In his talk with Agence France-Presse journalists, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that, in response to Emmanuel Macron's call, he asked ‘who can guarantee that Russia will not use this time to bring its troops into our territory’, also noting that Ukraine is ‘against any truce that plays into the hands of the enemy’.
