Zelenskyy ordered creation of separate military force for drones

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, ordered the creation of a separate unit of the Armed Forces that would focus entirely on drones, Reuters reports

Mr. Zelenskyy signed a decree instructing the Government and the General Staff of the Armed Forces ‘to work out issues on the creation within the Ukrainian Armed Forces of a separate force for drone systems’.

"I have just signed a decree which will launch the creation of a separate branch within our Armed Forces: a drone systems force,” the Ukrainian leader said, announcing a list of future tasks. Among them are the creation of special staff positions for working with drones, special units, their training, and so on.
