Xi Jinping urged to increase military readiness of Chinese army
Chinese President Xi Jinping called for a comprehensive increase in the combat readiness of the Armed Forces during an inspection of the headquarters of the 78th Army Group of the PLA on September 8th, TASS reports with reference to CNN
The Chinese leader noted that every effort should be made to improve the level of combat readiness, prepare key and complex disciplines and develop new combat capabilities.
"The President of the People's Republic of China also stressed the importance of strengthening party building and maintaining a high level of integrity and unity of the Armed Forces of the People's Republic of China," the source reported.
Xi Jinping also met and praised the military and armed police officers for their effective and courageous participation in flood relief in the northern and north-eastern regions of the country.
