White House said it won’t allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons

White House National Security Council Co-ordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby said the US will not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons, RIA Novosti reports

John Kirby noted that the US would prefer to stop Iran through diplomacy, but obviously this will not happen in the near future. He said the United States will ensure that ‘the American side has the capabilities and options available to the Commander-in-Chief to prevent such a development’.

Kirby said the US does not want to see escalation between Iran and Pakistan. According to him, US President Joe Biden ‘is of the opinion that Iran should not be allowed to create nuclear weapons’.
