White House: F-16 fighter jets will be transferred to Ukraine by European countries

After completing the training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighters, Kiev will receive these aircraft from European countries – as stated by the US National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, TASS reports

Earlier, American leader Joe Biden announced the training of Ukrainian pilots on the F-16.

"This training will take some time, after which the F-16 will be delivered, probably by European countries with access to the F-16," Mr. Sullivan said. He did not name the approximate dates for the start of training and receipt of equipment by Kiev.

As previously stated by the Head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Dmytro Kuleba, one of the Western countries promised Kiev to begin such exercises in June. So far, the training has not begun.
