Vucic: Serbia to continue developing political and economic relations with US
Serbian leader Aleksandar Vucic, after a meeting with US Ambassador Christopher Hill, said that Serbia will continue to work to develop political and economic relations with the United States, TASS reports
“It was an open conversation with US Ambassador Christopher Hill on further improving Serbian-American political and economic relations. We also discussed the international situation of Serbia, the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, the continuation of the dialogue with Pristina, as well as current geopolitical events,” the Serbian President wrote on the social network Instagram. “We reaffirmed our commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region and strengthening friendship and co-operation between Serbia and the United States,” Vucic concluded.
In June 2023, the US Ambassador in Belgrade called on the Serbian President to forget the past for the sake of future generations and move forward.
